Twitter Ban is Lifted in Nigeria. Finally, the Nigeria Government has lifted the suspension of Twitter operations in the country. This is done months after it announced a clampdown on the social media platform. The suspension was lifted after Twitter agreed to establish a legal entity in Nigeria in the first quarter of 2022.
This statement was said by the director-general of the National Information Technology Development Agency, Kashifu Inuwa Abdullahi.

Other than establishing offices in Nigeria, the government said Twitter CEO also agreed to pay applicable tax in the country. And also appoint a designated country base representative to interface with Nigerian authorities.
The Federal Government of Nigeria (FGN) has given orders to inform the public that President Muhammed Buhari, GCFR has approved the lifting of the suspension in Nigeria. This will be effective from 12 AM tonight, 13th January 2022.
