Microsoft Store
The store is an app on Windows 10 and lets users install apps and games, purchase digital media and other devices. Some users might not even know that there is a store on their Windows 10.
A couple of section of the Store app has been removed. For example, Microsoft added the eBook section back in 2017. But the eBook was not cross-platform, and you only could read them using the Microsoft Edge web browser. So, it was removed in 2019. As the year comes and goes, there are more upgrades the company is operating to its Store, so keep yourself updated.

Microsoft Store Section
There are different downloadable files that you can get on the store. Below are items you can get in the store:
Apps
This is the section where you find free and paid UWP apps designed for the Windows experience. There are apps in every category from productivity to entertainment. Users can find apps based on category, bundles, app specials, or search for a direct name. there are also more than just UWP apps, meaning you can install the desktop version of iTunes from the store.
Movies & TV
This section of the store got much more appealing. Previously, after the purchase of a movie from Microsoft, you can only watch it on Windows 10 or Xbox console. But now you can download movies and tv shows from Microsoft and then watch them on any device. Movies or TV series bought from Microsoft can be watched on devices like Roku, Apple TV, Fire TV, and more.
You can also download these media for offline viewing. But you can only purchase or rent movies through the store.
Games
If you are in search of a simple free time-killing game or a full-on GPU-burning Xbox game, you can find it here. Just as you can with apps, various games are free, top games, bundles, Xbox Live games, etc.
Edge Extensions
When Microsoft launched the Windows 10 version with its new Edge browser, it formerly didn’t support extensions. Microsoft later added extension support and put them in the Store app to be downloaded from. With Microsoft rebuilding Edge on Chromium, getting extensions can be done via the browser.
Devices
If you need a new PC, you also can check on the device section in the Microsoft Store. Here you can find the company’s line of Surface devices and PCs, and accessories from other manufacturers. Also, you can shop for other Microsoft products like Xbox One bundles and even branded clothing.
Settings and More
If you click on the Settings (three dots) option, you can get updates, view the content library, redeem codes, change settings and payment options, access your Microsoft account, and more. One important thing you should do here is to turn off video autoplay.
While you are browsing for movies and games, trailers will automatically play at the top by default. Settings will also allow you to require a sign-in to purchase media, and you can disable the auto-update for apps.
