Do you know How To Delete Facebook Account? It is very easy to get rid of your account anytime you are tired of the platform. But there is a way where you can temporarily deactivate your account for a period of time.

This means that users can either delete their account permanently or deactivate their account. Deactivation is not similar to leaving Facebook. If you delete your account, your timeline will be erased, friends can’t past or contact you, and you will lose access to all third-party services you registered with Facebook.
How To Delete Facebook Account
Whether you are concerned about your online privacy, or you want to disconnect from the platform, there are two different ways to get rid of your Facebook account. You can temporarily deactivate your account or choose to permanently delete it.
Facebook Account Delete
Before permanently deleting your account, you may want to log in and download a copy of your information like photos and posts from Facebook. After deleting your account, you won’t be able to retrieve anything you have added.
The difference between deactivating and deleting your Facebook account is that deactivating it gives users the ability to return whenever they wish. But deleting your account permanently is forever losing your account.
How To Deactivate Facebook Account
- Visit the Facebook platform either via facebook.com or the Facebook mobile application
- Click on Settings
- Select “Your Facebook Information” in the left column and click Deactivation and Deletion
- Hit the Deactivate Your Account option, click Continue to Account Deactivation and follow the instructions to confirm
To reactivate the account, just login to the account online or use your account to login to any third-party app.
To Permanently Delete Your Facebook Account
- Go to the URL facebook.com or launch the Facebook mobile app
- Sign in to your account using your username and password
- Click on the arrow down icon at the top header section
- Then scroll and click on Settings & privacy
- Click on Settings and select the Facebook Information in the left column. Then click Privacy, and select Your Facebook Information option
- Hit the Deactivation and deletion
- Choose Delete Account, and click Continue to account deletion
- And finally click Delete Account, enter your password and click on Continue
And that’s it.
Can I Cancel My Account Deletion?
If it has been less than 30 days since you made the deletion, you can cancel the account deletion. After 30 days, the account and all your information will be permanently deleted, and won’t be able to retrieve the information.
It may take up to 90 days from the start of the deletion process to delete all the posts and upload you have posted. While Facebook deletes the information, it is not accessible to other users on the Facebook platform.
To cancel your account deletion:
- Login to your Facebook account within 30 days of deleting your account
- Then on the deletion page, click on Cancel Deletion
This will stop the deleting of your Facebook account.
